Jungle

Take a long look around before moving and then head right and slide down a short way to a grassy spot. Walk to the left edge and do a standing jump into the leaves.  Secret #1. Crouch and look around to find the shotgun and some Uzi clips.

Now start sliding down the dirt slope but jump up and grab the overhead log on the way. Dispose of the monkey, and line up on the left of the tree trunk before hanging and dropping from the back of the log to the slope once more. Let Lara slide to a stop. If you lined up properly, you should stop in a small spike-free section. 

Jump and bend towards the wall on the left to continue downward.  Grab the shotgun shells on the ledge and then trigger a boulder trap by heading for the large medikit (don't get the pack - get out of the way!). Pick up the pack when it's safe from the ledge with the boulder, walk to the very edge to the right of the tree. 

Jump from there past the tree, leaning to the left in mid-air.

Secret #2. Follow the path to get a save crystal and shotgun shells.

Return to the boulder ledge.

Jump backwards onto the slope (so you face forward). Jump across the last row of spikes, hugging the wall on Lara's left. Collect the Save Crystal, but walk carefully in the area, as most of it is a quicksand mire. Jump, grab and pull-up to the top of the pillar just past the crystal.

Secret #3. Check out the ledges in the ruined wall nearby - there are flares, shells and a grenade in one of the dark corners.  Head for the doorway at the bottom of this area towards the right.  Either jump through it or wade through the quicksand to enter a short hall.

In the open area you meet a monkey - don't shoot him at the moment, just follow him across the room and into a narrow passage. Now shoot him and retrieve the Small Medikit.  Check out the river at the end of the narrow passage. The current is strong, and the water is filled with piranha! Throw the switch here to open a door in the trees back in the previous room. Head back towards it and enter the small room.

When you throw the switch in here, a wall of spikes closes in from Lara's left. Throw the switch, roll, and run for the safety of the window behind you. Climb quickly and roll. When the wall passes, go to the dark corner of the room and clamber up to the rope slide.  The slide deposits you on a rock. Climb on top and do a running jump through the hole in the huge tree opposite. A tiger rushes you in the next jungle area.

If you move fast, you can jump up over the sloped side of the log on the left, and fight from atop it. To the left of the entrance into this area (as you face it) is a greenish ledge with ammo - it's a tricky jump in the gloom!  Explore the area and find the river - there are some flares in a tree to the left.

Back in the jungle clearing there is a pile of fallen rocks with a small medikit. After exploring and defending against the resident monkeys find a tree with a path through it to some steps. Throw the switch inside the tree and run onto the steps to avoid the impending boulder.

Investigate the area where the boulder came from to find a second switch near a gate. Flick this to enter a narrow jungle path. Here are tigers! After taking out the first one duck through the shrubbery to the right (about 2/3rds down the path) to find some shells. 

Return to the path and take out a second tiger. Past the path of tigers, a monkey waits in a fog shrouded clearing. Avoid the spiked pit, and don't overlook the shells and Uzi ammo near the trees on the right. Crawl beneath the fallen tree and follow the path to climb atop it.

Expect more tiger trouble near the Save Crystal.  Before passing through into the next room jump off the log onto a tree branch on the left. Follow it to the end and pick up some MP5 clips.

Return to the big log and walk into the next room. Hanging and dropping off the end of the log, you'll slide into a spike trap with very little damage. After you collect the ammo from the rocks at the back of this room drop down into the tunnel and walk to the far wall through the spikes. Climb up the ledge into the misty room and return to the end of the big log.

Jump off the log onto the floor of the room, near the walls. Shoot a monkey and go through the left doorway. Follow the lattice-work hallway to a spiked ledge.

Shoot the monkey prowling the cliff face when Lara looks up at it and then walk through the spikes. Climb and shimmy to the high dark cave, picking up a small medikit on the way.

Once in the cave, drop a flare near the entrance. Hurt the monkey and throw the switch. A boulder falls from above when you double-back down the hallway, but your flare lights up the escape route.

Return to the switch in the cave and jump and grab your way into a smaller cave.  Secret #4. You have to watch your head but there are harpoons and a rocket to be picked up. Return to the rock below the crevice. 

Grab the wall between the rooms and shimmy right to drop onto the roof of the lattice hallway. Jump onto the sloping roof and grab the edge as you slide off. You can now shimmy to the end and climb up and get the save gem.

If you haven't been taking pot shots at the escaped tiger down below during all this, finish him off now and then slide over the wall back into the log room.

Stand on the edge of the broken floor facing the end of the log. See that tiny opening? Jump and grab for it to find Secret #5 flares and MP5 clips. Inch out backwards and drop into the room below.

Exit down the wide grassy steps into darkest jungle!  Just beyond the wide gate into this area is a tree trunk on the left containing flares. Walk carefully into the clearing with weapons drawn and a monkey will appear. Take it out and slowly move towards the body while listening out for boulder traps.

It's difficult to tell where they come from but easy to avoid them the second time around! Stand near the two boulders and look around. There are a lot of bushes up a slight slope nearby. Climb the extreme right side of the slope jumping a steeper bit to reach the bushes. A third boulder should roll harmlessly by.

Walk through the bushes into a quiet hidden glade. In one corner, well disguised, is a pit. Pick up the small medikit and then drop into the pit grabbing and holding to the edge near where the medikit was. Shimmy left and drop.

Pull up into a small cave to reach Secret #6 a save crystal and flares. Exit by jumping over the spikes, clambering up the block and jumping for the edge of the pit.  Return through the bushes to the jungle and head for the river. 

Explore the river to the right for ammo. Then run along the shore towards the island. You'll have to leap to the island, and then jump up from the highest point to grab the ledge above. Throwing the switch on the upper ledge opens the door high on the wall in the background.

To reach the door, you have to run and jump and grab from the small island to a flat spot just to the right of the pillar.

Scramble up towards the door and then jump onto the convenient tree branch and follow it around to a second rope slide.  Ride the rope slider across the chasm to the hallway, and follow the passage to the left. With a couple of diagonal jumps you can reach the Save Crystal unmolested, but expect two tigers when you move out into the large room with the rock pillars.

Coax the tigers out of hiding and despatch them. In order to reach the opening on the right side of the falls, you must flood the huge area.  Investigate the dark passage to the left of the falls and follow it to a pool room.

Cross the pool, picking up the flares on the central platform, and turn to the right on the ledge near the distant sealed portal. To the right of the portal is a block to pull twice. The portal should open. Inside is a switch, which opens a trapdoor behind the block. 

Drop into this hole, swim down and surface at a walkway. Throw the switches at both ends of this walkway and return to the outer pool through the underwater gates. Throw the switch behind the second unsealed portal. The large area near the waterfalls floods.

Now you can return and swim to the ledge that had been out of reach.  Go through the tunnel behind the falls and climb up a ladder. Return to the outside and clamber up the falls to find a hallway with a switch to throw. Pick your spot carefully and dive into the water below.

Swim through the underwater columns looking for some steps going down and follow them into a longish flooded corridor. At the end of this you'll surface, floating in a pool with a tiger lurking nearby. Kill the tiger and then check the area for ammo and climb the ladder.

Up the ladder, make sure to dispose of the monkey. Pick up the Indra key and walk around the wall. From the upper ledge, dispose of the tiger and walk down the stairs into the gloom.

Collect some ammo from the small alcove to the left of the door, and then apply the Indra Key to the lock.

Slog through the quicksand to make your exit.
