Desert Railroad

First Boxcar:

Lara has stowed away on the train bound for Alexandria. Pull the lever to open the door at the back end of the train. Take a diagonal simple jump to the next box car.

Sleeping Car:

Use the Action key to open the door to the first room.  WOW, Lara can now open doors like a normal person! Shoot the box and pick up a small medi-pack. Enter the middle room, shoot the box and pick up red shotgun shells. On the way to the last room, one of those Ninjas shows up.  Get up close to the Ninja to get him to drop his guard, shoot then back up before he can do any damage with those sharp knives. Repeat until the Ninja is no more.

Go to the last room. Nothing there. Open the door to the back of the car. Wait a bit and you will see a Ninja coming over the green tarps of the next car. Wait on the sleeping car platform until he gets close.  You can lure him closer by holstering your guns. If you get him close and shoot him, he will fall under the train.

Flat car with green tarp:

An army truck pulls up along side of the train, delivering one more Ninja. Shoot at the Ninja as he makes his way to you. Holster and draw your guns to get him closer, shooting him each time he drops his guard. Continue on to the next flat car.

Dark grey flat car:

Approach the next boxcar, and look at the climbing ladder on the side. Do a standing jump grab to the orange car.

Orange boxcar:

Climb up and continue down the roof of the car until you are between two hatches. Two Ninjas climb out of the hatches in back and in front of you.

Try to take care of the one nearest you while the other uses his machine gun to riddle you with holes. Have a medi-pack until you have dealt with both of them. Drop down into the first hatch. Pick up the red shotgun shells in the corner, and then shoot the box to get more shotgun shells.  Another Ninja is hiding around the corner. Get out a better gun and shoot the Ninja.

Next orange boxcar:

Jump down into the hatch. Explore but nothing there. Back to the rooftop, and jump to the flatcar with the green tarp.

Flat car with green tarp:

No jump seems to work to get you on top of the high spot of the tarp. After killing poor Lara a few times, lower yourself over the edge of the flatcar and shimmy to the back of the car and climb up. Do a standing jump grab to the next car and climb up to the roof.

Last boxcar at end of train:

The helicopter flies by and drops off yet another Ninja. Battle it out on the roof of the boxcar. Drop over the end of the boxcar and a door opens. Climb down and then sideways, and then up into the boxcar. Secret #1!  Pick up grenade gun ammo and a large medi-pack. Climb back out the way you came up to the roof of the box car. Now look on the side of the boxcar and find another door. Repeat the climbing moves to get into the side door of the boxcar.

Pick up the shotgun (more ammo), the crowbar, and 2 sets of red shotgun shells.

Are you going nuts yet? You have a crowbar but don't know where to use it. Go to the half-round switch looking device. Go on the opposite end of where the broken switch is pointing. Approach it like you would a normal lever and press the Action key. Finally, you can open the door and get out of this car! Jump to the flat car with the green tarp.

Flat car with green tarp:

Climb up to the top and take a long running jump with grab to the climbing ladder on the next car. Two or three Ninjas appear. Take them on one at a time and toss them over the edge to the track below. Drop down into the hatch of the orange boxcar. One more Ninja and the coast is clear.  Walk around to all of the boxes and press Action.

On a box near the front of the car, your search will pay off as Lara pulls out the crowbar and breaks open a crate to Secret #2! Crouch and shoot the box. Pick up blue grenade gun ammo. Walk on over for the big prize - the Grenade Gun itself!  Crouch and shoot one more box for more blue grenade gun ammo.  Walk to the door and jump to the car with the green tarp. Do a standing jump grab to the climbing ladder and continue towards the front of the train.

Grey flat car:

Oh, no another truck bringing a re-supply of Ninjas. Now would be a good time to try out the handy dandy grenade gun. Blast them to bits, jump to the car with the green tarp.

Green tarp flat car and sleeping car:

One more Ninja awaits in the sleeping car. Kill him, and then jump to the sleeping car. Go to the other end of the sleeping car and line up a simple jump to the first boxcar, but take one walking step backwards before doing the simple jump to avoid having Lara take a trip under the train.

First boxcar:

Walk around to the middle of all of the boxes and press the Action key until Lara takes out her crowbar. Find Secret #3 - a small medi-pack. Walk to the end of the half round item on the floor which is missing a switch (opposite where the switch is pointing.) Press the action key to use the crowbar.

This detaches the train and Lara ends up in Alexandria.
