The Great Pyramid

Tunnel from the Mastabas:

Continue down the tunnel and emerge in another building, pick up the small medi-pack and red shotgun ammo.

Southeast building:

Shoot the boards away from the door and go outside. Shoot the bad guy that is between the two buildings on your side of the pit. Then use the crossbow with the laser sight and normal ammo to shoot the guy on the West side of the pit. Take a long running jump to the South side of the pit. Use the crossbow to shoot the other guy on the North side of the pit.

Southwest building:

Enter the south-west building and shoot the guy behind the door.  Take out the wasp in the corner. What no trap door? Might be worth investigating. With your back to the door you entered, try the centre blocks until you find the hidden trap door. Climb down the climbing ladder and pick up the Grenade Gun (more ammo) for Secret #1. Go back up and find the other door and go to the next building.

Northwest building:

Kick open the door and shoot the guard. Open the trap door and look down. This trap door is a trap with a deep pit that goes nowhere. Exit through the unopened door and find yourself in front of the Great Pyramid.

Find the last building.

Northeast building:

Shoot the boards away and open the door. Kill the two wasps that have been boarded up. Open the trap door and get yourself a large medi-pack.

Go to the corners of the room and pick up red grenade gun ammo and Uzi clips.

Pyramid tips:

Look for sandy ledges which are usually flat. If you need to go down the pyramid, look for sandy slides. Flat ledges form a small triangle where they join with a sliding ledge. For the falling blocks that roll down from the top of the pyramid, use the crawl key ONLY to crouch close behind the uphill ledge and let the falling block fly overhead.

1. Bottom of the Pyramid- Going up on West side:

Approach the pit near the pyramid and you get a flyby cut scene of the pyramid. Go out on the small ledge and take a long running jump across the pit to the ledge at the bottom of the pyramid.  Look to the west and you can see a path along the pit wall. Take a long running jump with grab across the pit at the base of the pyramid. Carefully walk up the sloped blocks and shoot the wasp.  Climb up the flat ledges to the second main row of blocks of the pyramid; take a long running jump across the sloped blocks to the east flat ledge.  Tuck yourself in next to high block to avoid being flattened by the falling block. On the second row, take a simple jump as you head east.

 

 

 

 

 

You should now be above the ledge where you first started climbing the pyramid.

2. Bottom of Pyramid going east:

One simple jump on the second row, one more falling block, and now you can climb up to the third row. Take simple jump across the slanted blocks on the third row until you reach a sandy ledge that is two blocks wide.

You appear to be stuck going up any higher, so now you have to go back down. Look down to see a wide sandy ledge near the pit. Save your game.  Take a long running jump to the east and slide down the pyramid to land on the sandy ledge by the pit.

Immediately move away from the block you are standing on because, a falling block is about to flatten you. Drop down to the lowest ledge by the pit.

 

 

 

 

3. Bottom of Pyramid, across the pit:

Take a long running jump with grab across the pit. Shoot the wasp on the other ledge on this side of the pit. Take a long running jump to the east ledge on this side of the pit. Now a long running jump with grab across the pit to the ledge at the bottom of the pyramid.

First row:

Climb up to the first main row of blocks on the pyramid. Immediately side jump right to the ledge with the large medi-pack to avoid being squished from a falling rock. Then a simple jump back to the ledge on the first main row of blocks.

 

 

 

 

4. Bottom of Pyramid, climbing up and West:

Now take two simple diagonal jumps to get to the third row of the pyramid.

On the third row, take a simple jump west which triggers a wasp. Now go up to the fifth row of the pyramid.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Middle of the Pyramid going east:

Go east on the fifth row by taking a couple of simple jumps from sandy ledge to sandy ledge. Crouch as far uphill as you can to avoid the falling block... Up to the eighth row:  Now climb up as high as you can and kill the two wasps (eighth row of the pyramid).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. Centre of Pyramid (8th row) going West:

Go west as far as you can. Now what? No where to go! So it is time for a leap of faith. Take a long running jump to the west, slide down the pyramid and land on a sandy ledge on the fifth row.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. Middle of the pyramid.

Going up and west from centre of pyramid Go west on the fifth row by taking a long running jump to the next sandy ledge. Kill the wasp. You now have two choices taking the high path or the low path.

They both lead to the same place, but the high path is harder.

Let’s do the high path first:

Climb up to the seventh row, take a long jump to a single flat block THEN straight away jump diagonally up one row to the left, those who linger peril. After the boulder has passed, take a long jump to the sandy slide back to the fifth row.

Then continue as the low path.

 

 

 

8. The low path.

Use a series of jump to go west by jumping from ledge to ledge on the fourth and fifth row. To jump from a low ledge to a high ledge, walk backwards to the bottom corner as far as you can, line up, and do a long running jump.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Half way along to and froing you will see the slide from the high path. When you can go no further west and have shot another wasp, start climbing up to the eighth row.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

9. Getting to the top.

Then take a long running jump angled to the west and up to the sandy ledge on the ninth row. Go west on the ninth row until you can go no further. On the way, a falling block should fly over your head.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

10. Going for the slide.

When you can go no further, look for a sandy slide to the west. Take a long running jump to the sandy slide and slide down the pyramid to the bottom.
