Deep-sea Dive

You can fire a chaff flare to decoy a torpedo using the Sprint key. The torpedo should then follow the flare.

Right from submarine to underwater valley:

From the sub, swim to the seaweed, and take a right and follow the passage. You will enter an underwater valley. Swim toward the mini-sub, which stations itself above a dome shaped hill. Swim around the dome on the left and look on the bottom for an underwater tunnel. Swim down the under water tunnel and pick up Secret #1 - a gold rose. Swim back to the submarine by swimming away from the dome shaped hill with the mini-sub to the other side of the valley.

 

Left from submarine to underwater valley:

From the submarine, swim to the seaweed and take a left. Swim into the valley and turn right to where the mini-sub is protecting a dome shaped hill. Swim around the dome shaped hill on the left until you see a narrow underwater passage with green walls.

(Note: you can not enter another part of the valley, because the current won't let you.)

Follow the green underwater passage.

The U-boat:

From the green underwater passage emerge in another valley with a dome shaped hill. Swim to the opening in the top of the hill before the mini-sub shows up. Find the opening near the bottom of the chamber and swim into the next chamber and find the opening at the top. Continue swimming through the chambers until you find the chamber with the Spear of Destiny.

Cutscene:

Lara picks up the Spear of Destiny, "Ahhh, who could have believed it?" A small earthquake occurs breaking her breathing system. Lara cries, "Ouch, time to leave."

The U-boat:

Your breathing system is broken, so you have to get back to the submarine fast. Save your game right away.  Swim out of the chambers, openings are middle, top, top and bottom. Now swim to the top of the chamber and out of the U-boat. Do not go back via the green passage, instead look for a valley with seaweed - the mini-sub should be guarding this valley. Swim down the valley and the current will speed you on your way back to the main sub. At the end of the valley, take a right and swim back to the opening at the bottom of the submarine. If you are running out of air, you can take medi-packs to extend life a bit more.  If you do not succeed, reload a saved game, and try again. Note that hitting the walls and floors uses up more air.
